Estimating & Project Support Trainee
Due to ongoing, structured growth and recent contract wins at Cleartech Group Ltd, we are currently recruiting for an Estimating & Project Support Trainee. The successful candidate will work as part of the Cleartech sales & estimating team, preparing estimates and quotations, based on information obtained from tender enquiries.
This is an office-based role, with working hours consisting of: Monday to Thursday – 8.00am to 5.00pm and Friday – 8.00am to 4.00pm. There may be a requirement to visit customer sites and carry out surveys with the projects team, therefore, a driving license would be advantageous.
Responsibilities and Duties
The candidate will carry out take offs from tender drawings and schedules and obtain relevant information from project specifications, in order to allow Cleartech to bid and tender for HVAC Commissioning and Water Treatment projects in the Building Services (MEP) Construction Sector. The candidate will assist and support the project and operations team, compiling job specific drawings and schedules for the site teams to use, during on-site related works. Moreover, they will also compile and create site specific Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS) for each project and issue these to clients, prior to the on-site team carrying out the works.
Full training will be given by the projects team and the HVAC Mechanical Engineers. Regarding preparing Operating and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, initial training will be given by the projects team and HVAC Mechanical Engineers.
After successful completion of the training programme, there is the opportunity to gain additional qualifications through Distance Learning courses and attending college on a block release basis.
– MS Office Skills (Primarily Excel)

– Background in any construction related activity
